Early in the morning, it’s time to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate before we’ll explore the awakening rainforest, watching some species of birds, monkeys or good chance to find the pink dolphins along the river by paddle canoe. Afterward, we’ll return for a nutritious breakfast.

Next activity, we’ll paddle canoe down the river to visit the Indigenous Siona community. There, we’ll immerse ourselves in their daily life, learning about their native language and customs as we stroll through their small farm, collecting and tasting some tropical fruits. After we’ll participate on making “cassava,” the traditional manioc bread, along with other local snacks prepared by the Siona family, perfect timing for lunch! After our meal, the Siona women will showcase and offer their beautiful handicrafts, necklaces and bracelets, which make wonderful souvenirs and support the Siona families. Later, we’ll return to the lodge for a short rest. 

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a walk through the rainforest, discovering how diverse life forms coexist and thrive in this delicate ecosystem. We’ll spot colorful butterflies and frogs while listening to the calls of various birds, gaining insights into the remarkable variety of flora around us. Walking back to the lodge, we’ll notice the emergence of nocturnal life; insects, spiders, snakes, and frogs will come alive as the sun sets, contributing to the rainforest’s symphony of sounds. After our adventure, dinner will be served.
