After breakfast, we’ll embark on a 3 to 4-hour hike through the primary forest. During this walk, the guide will share fascinating insights about the tropical rainforest ecosystem and the medicinal plants found in the area. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to observe towering trees like the CEIBO or smaller creatures such as ants.

We’ll return to the camp for lunch and some downtime. In the afternoon, we’ll venture out again to admire beautiful butterflies and take a refreshing swim in the lagoon. If conditions allow, we may also spot the stunning pink river dolphins and enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the water. Afterward, we’ll head back to the camp for dinner.

At night, we’ll engage in an exciting nocturnal activity, focusing on spotting alligators along the riverbanks. This is a unique opportunity to experience the jungle’s wildlife after dark.

After breakfast, we’ll board a canoe and head downstream for about an hour to visit a local family from the Tarapuy community. During this visit, we’ll have the chance to learn how to prepare Casabe , a traditional bread made from yuca, and even participate in its preparation. We’ll discover how to use materials sourced directly from the jungle to make this traditional bread, an activity that will take up most of the day. We’ll return to the lodge at around 2:00 PM.

After lunch, you’ll have time for relaxation and leisure activities. To wrap up the day, we’ll take a short walk through the primary forest, focusing on spotting nocturnal insects such as spiders, geckos, or scorpions. Along the way, we’ll also take the opportunity to listen to the intriguing sounds and noises of the jungle at night.
