About
Kapari Lodge is located 90 kilometers from Quito, near San Miguel de los Bancos, surrounded by one of the last remaining forests of the Chocó biological corridor. Its wonderful landscape is complemented by more than 250 species of birds, 200 species of orchids and a large number of butterflies and bromeliads. A high hill overlooking the Río Blanco valley accommodates the Lodge, surrounded by a majestic montane landscape. The valley and the river range from 700 to 1000 meters above sea level, offering an ideal climate for a thick tropical vegetation. The lodge offers rooms with panoramic views, heated pool, outdoor whirlpool, game room, event room, bird garden, restaurant, bar, and spa.

The new Chocó Andino de Pichincha Biosphere Reserve is one of the most diverse forests where you can observe more than 300 species of birds that inhabit this magical place. Throughout the dense forest you will be able to identify the birds by their song and admire the spectacular colors of the many species. Enjoy relaxed moments in the garden which is regularly visited by a great variety of hummingbirds.

Our 8 panoramic suites are spread over three floors, all offering unparalleled views of the forest and the Rio Blanco. This modern structure surrounded by trees houses spacious suites with comfortable bathrooms and are the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. We also have two inside suites with two interconnected rooms, an excellent option for families or groups of friends traveling together.
