It’s called ” Sanctuary” because it means a place for rest and disconnect from everyday life, also for being the shrine of humpback whales.

The Lodge is located at the north of Puerto Cayo, in Boca cayo; a rural area, the property is at the feet of the Pacific Ocean , was designed by an Ecuadorian architect focused on use of natural light , the landscapes of the Machalilla National Park and Silver Island without losing sight of the native details such as bamboo, banana fiber, dried palm leaves, the different areas are decorated with works of abstract art pyrographied over wood.
